La Hora del Blues
3 1/2 Stars - Very Good

This Californian trio keeps burning the flame of sixties West-Side Chicago blues tradition. They roll with a dynamic varied repertoire, specially based on guitar riffs on the path of Magic Sam, Jimmy Dawkins and Otis Rush. You will find good versions of 'San-Ho Zay', 'I Wonder Why', 'Same Old Blues' or the always effective 'Cold Cold felling' which in my opinion reminds me of Jimmy Johnson's performing style. An effective dynamic band who cleverly and tastefully keep burning the flame of sixties old Chicago blues. One More Mile follow with great passion and a careful performing one of the blues styles that unfortunately today has been a little bit forgotten by actual blues players. VERY GOOD.
